Single Shell Tank – Feldmeier Equipment

Each year Feldmeier Equipment manufactures hundreds of custom single shell atmospheric vessels. Single shell tanks that are used for storage and/or mixing come in all shapes and sizes. Based upon process requirements and space limitations the staff at Feldmeier determines the proper vessel for each application.

Single shell tanks can be factory built or field erected and range in size from 5 gallons to 500,000 gallons. The most common configurations are vertical cylindrical and horizontal cylindrical. Although dome style heads are common on single shell tanks, they may also be manufactured with flat heads, conical heads and hemispherical heads. Tanks that are included in this category include CIP Tanks, Balance Tanks, Beverage and Juice Storage Tanks, Totes, Surge Tanks and Water Tanks.
